Ming Makes Mr. wei-chi Lin's Dream Come true

Mr. Wei-chi Lin, doing his musical doctor degree at the
National Taiwan Normal University, attended the Roman
Piano Contest and won the first prize, a Seiler Piano.
Due to transportation and tax problesms, the winner would
have to give up the hard-earned prize.
When his worry came to the knowledge of Yang Ming, |
the shipping company decided to extend a helping hand by shipping,
for free, the piano from Germany to Taiwan as an encouragement
to his outstanding performance in the international contest
and as a token of the company's fulfillment of its social responsibility.
Delivery of the piano involved professional packing and transportation.
Yang Ming overcame these problems with assistance of Yang Ming
Shipping Europe GmbH. The piano arrived at Keelung Port via
Yang Ming vessel Ming Cosmos on March 17th, 2004. To encourage
Mr. Lin to keep winning more international contest, Mr. W. H.
Huang, President of Yang Ming, presided the delivery ceremony
at Keelung Port on March 23rd, 2004.
